Lausanne, nestled in the heart of Switzerland, enjoys excellent accessibility from various parts of Europe. The city is served by Geneva Airport, offering international connections, and can also be conveniently reached by train or bus from neighboring cities like Geneva, Zurich, and Milan.
By Train
Leeds is the busiest station in the north and a major hub for national rail transport – with direct rail links from across the country.
By Air
Two international airports are located within an hour of the city – Leeds Bradford Airport and Manchester Airport:

By Bus
Leeds City Bus and Coach Station are conveniently located in the city center with National Express and Megabus operating regular coaches from destinations across the country direct into Leeds.

Getting to the venue
By bus
- The Royal Armouries Museum is approximately 15 to 20 minutes walk from Leeds bus station (approximately 0.9 kilometres/0.6 miles)
- Yorkshire Buses Line 29 runs from Woodhouse (University of Leeds) through to Hunslet Shopping Centre, calling at Hyde Park, Leeds City Centre and Leeds Dock – alight here for the Royal Armouries Museum.
By train
- The museum is approximately a 20 to 25-minute walk from Leeds railway station (approximately 1.3 kilometres/0.8 miles)
By water taxi
- Leeds Dock water taxis run every 15 minutes from Granary Wharf (just by the new South entrance of Leeds train station)
- Journeys take approximately 10 minutes and cost £2 per person, children 5 years and under travel free
- Please note, water levels can affect the running of the water taxis

SwissTech is easily accessible by train. You can arrive to ether Renens Gare or Lausanne Gare station, which are both well-connected with public transportation.
By public transport
You can reach the conference venue from the city centre of Lausanne by taking metro M1 from Lausanne-Flon to the direction of Renens Gare
By car
SwissTech is in direct proximity from the highway exit “Lausanne Sud, UNIL-EPFL”. There are plenty of parking spaces available within a short walking distance away from the SwissTech.
